West Yorkshire Spinners The Croft Shetland Tweed DK is produced from 100% Shetland Island wool, a fibre celebrated for its fineness, warmth and strength. Each colour of The Croft DK is developed to reflect the rich heritage and colourful landscape of the Shetland Islands.
The high levels of crimp and wave in the fleece make it ideal for a hand knitting yarn. The Croft has a soft and silky handle that retains a lot of durability particularly suited to our new tweed collection.
The yarn can be machine washed at 30°C, ensuring it’ll be easy to look after.
